We are a cross-border coalition of Americans, Canadians, religious leaders, and elected officials uniting in Montreal to demand that GardaWorld immediately terminate its $2.5 billion contracts with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). It is a stain on Canada’s proud history of human rights that a massive Canadian corporation is actively profiting from an agency rife with reports of abuse, food deprivation, and the denial of clean water and medical care. By accepting contracts to run detention warehouses in Surprise, Arizona, and San Antonio, Texas, GardaWorld has made itself complicit in human suffering.
